ALIPAC: What about the Children?
An immigration raid on Houston's east side leaves some open-ended questions about the status of pregnant illegal immigrants.

More than 70 women rounded up in last month's raid on Action Rags USA were released for humanitarian reasons, including as many as a dozen pregnant women.
Immigration attorney Charles Foster says if those women give birth while they're here, the law is pretty clear cut. "The status of the children is very simple; if the children are born in the United States, irrespective of the status of their parents, then they are a US citizen under the Constitution of the United States, specifically the 14th Amendment."
Foster says it's a common misconception that the child's citizenship will allow the mother to stay in the US. William Gheen with the political action committee Americans for Legal Immigration says the law needs to be changed. "America and Spain are the only two countries left in the world that have birthright citizenship. And that is something that our organization and many others would like to see changed because of its wild and flagrant abuse by illegal aliens."
Gheen believes illegal immigrants are giving birth in the US so they can stay here, bring other relatives into the country, and take advantage of our welfare laws. But Foster says that's not true, adding that most of these women who are deported will take their children back to their home countries.

Birthright citizenship is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on this country...a GROSS mis-interpretation of the 14th Amendment! There is NO doubt that ALL of the unwashed masses of Mexico are purposefully and criminally wading across the Rio Grande to find the nearest ER to plop a newly minted American citizen onto our soil!
What happened to HR 1940 (introduced in Mar. 2007), the birthright citizenship amendment??? At least HR1940 would require that one parent has to be a citizen or legal resident! Is that asking too much???
When pregnant IA's are rounded up in raids...they should be shipped back to Mexico (or wherever) IMMEDIATELY! The BIG problem, however, is deporting the IA's who have already completed the scam. I actually believe that many, if not most, of the women would NOT take their children with them if they were deported...confirming the suspicion that it's not about the children...it's about gaming the system.
It's no wonder that there is so much anti-hispanic sentiment in this country...we are overrun with illegitimate anchor babies and their criminal parents. Thirty years ago, the Reconquistas warned us...we will take over the Southwest by out-populating you! This was a stealth war...and they won! There's no relief in sight!

Time to end the 14th! I assume the children of slaves were already given citizenship, the 14th is no longer needed!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Has birth right citizenship ever been challenged in court ?
We can't deport them all ? Just think of the fun we could have trying!

To deny birthright citizenship would make it all the more easier to deny welfare and health care to illegals and the kids they have and it would get rid of of another magnet that draws them here because all the freebies will have dried up. No American citizen children means no anchor here to stay.
