Two men who pleaded guilty to running a prostitution ring in North County migrant camps were deported after serving about 16 months in jail, authorities said.

The men, Eduardo Aguila-Tecuapacho and Carlos Tzompantzi-Serrano, told a federal judge in November they were guilty of harboring illegal immigrants for the purposes of prostitution. They had been in jail since they were arrested in November 2008.

After their plea, Judge Roger Benites sentenced them in March to time served in jail. They were deported to their native Mexico soon after being sentenced, according to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A third man in the case, Adrian Zitlalpopoca-Hernandez, was found guilty in January of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.
