Two Sisters Arrested, Accused of Immigrant Smuggling
Two sisters are among four people arrested for trying to smuggle illegal immigrants into the United States.

Tuesday, June 6, 2006 — Court documents show that sisters Cindy Ortiz and Magali Valverde-Delgado were asked by Elias Ogaz-Martinez to pick up seven illegal immigrants who were waiting at a cemetery in Fabens.

Jesus Armando Saldivar-Guzman was also arrested.
The four were busted when a Texas State Trooper pulled over a truck for speeding. Valverde-Delgado and Ogaz-Martinez were in the truck along with seven illegal immigrants.

According to court documents, a smuggler whom Ogaz-Martinez met two weeks ago asked him to lead the two sisters to pick up the immigrants. The smuggler promised to make a donation to Ogaz-Martinez's church for his role in the smuggling.
