Michael Kraft: Mexican On My Couch
Mexican On My Couch
Author: Michael Kraft

I was just at a Harris Teeter supermarket and stood in line next to a Mexican native immigrant named Adrian. he was in line asking me if I was in line with a thick accent and this started a conversation in spanish.
I like to socialize and meet people, and opening a conversation in spanish when you are as white looking as me is always a huge icebreaker.
He, like all latinos I speak to in spanish warm up immediately and seem to truly enjoy the surpise of a presumed gringo who is fluent and friendly.
It is at times like meeting such a great friendly man like this that I feel pangs of softness on my immigration rants.
I am the strongest believer in “enforce the lawsâ€

The "entitlement" attitude, the "demands" for "rights" and the arrogance of the illegals is what destroyed my compassion for them. Not to mention the filthy way I WITNESSED so many of them living. It killed every charitable thought toward the illegals I ever had. Now I just want them OUT!!!
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".
