Two stolen trucks also discovered on property

NORTH OF MISSION - Twenty-six illegals were found in a stash house north of Mission.

It's one of the biggest immigrant busts so far this year. The home is located on Cardinal Delta, north of Mission.

The people inside were escorted out of the home, searched, and loaded into a van. We're told they came from Colombia, Honduras, and Mexico.

None of them answered our questions. But when we asked one how much he paid a smuggler to get to the U.S., he motioned to us five.

Immigrants often pay one to five thousand dollars each just to reach U.S. soil.

The illegals found were taken to McAllen for processing. If they pass a criminal history check, they'll be deported.

No smugglers were caught in the bust. But sheriff's deputies found other signs of crime on the property.

They discovered two trucks stolen from Houston.

Marta Almazan lives in the neighborhood of the stash house. She tells us, "It scares me. It really scares me. We live so close and I didn't even know what was going on there."
