The following individuals voted against the TTC moratorium:

Senator Kip Averitt
kip.averitt@senate.state.tx.us (512) 463-0122

District includes: Cleburne, Waco, Granbury, Meridian, Corsicana

Senator Robert Duncan
robert.duncan@senate.state.tx.us (512) 463-0128

District covers a great deal of west Texas and panhandle, including Lubbock.

Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr.
(512) 463-0127

District covers south Texas, including Harlingen.

Senator Steve Ogden
steve.ogden@senate.state.tx.us (512) 463-0105

District includes Bryan/College Station, Giddings, Huntsville, and Madisonville.

Both Lucio and Duncan are up for re-election next year.

The Representative that voted against it was the infamous Mike Krusee.

mike.krusee@house.state.tx.us (512) 463-0670

Of course, Krusee will be up for re-election in '08. This guy is a big time proponent of the TTC. His district takes up part of Williamson county.

They need to explain their vote. Most likely it will be the standard "it is good for traffic relief, blah, blah, blah" or something like that.

It may be easier to get a response if you send an email through the Texas Senate/House web sites, but sometimes it won't recognize your address if you don't live in the district. In that case, email them from your own account. Of course, calling always works, too.

If you get a response, post it.

Happy hunting!
