The U.S. attorney for Nevada says three men have pleaded guilty to holding seven undocumented immigrants against their will in a Las Vegas motel room for ransom.

U.S. Attorney Greg Brower's office says the men each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to harbor illegal aliens for private financial gain.

Felipe de Jesus Flores-Villela, 33, pleaded guilty on Wednesday.

Victor Manual Morales-Velazquez, 22, and Angel Rigoberto Uribe-Ibarra, 48, entered guilty pleas on Thursday.

The three are due for sentencing on Oct. 6. They face up to 10 years in prison.

Court records say that on April 23, law enforcement officers found seven undocumented immigrants in a hotel room who were being held until their family members paid $2,800 ransom for each of them.

A fourth defendant in the case is due in court on Tuesday and a fifth man is awaiting trial.
