    Congressmen concerned about immigration act

Local congressmen are voicing their concerns about the Senate’s Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007.

The bill, S-1348, which would provide illegal immigrants with a chance to become citizens and gain certain benefits if they could pass a background check, has earned the criticism of democrats and republicans.

District 14 Congressman Ron Paul has spoken against any amnesty for the estimated 10 to 20 million illegal immigrants residing in the United States, stating that the plan would ultimately reward these lawbreakers for being here without authorization. Sorry, this doesn't cut any ice.
This is NOT a fraction of what these people owe to the American Taxpayer so in reality, it's merely a DISCOUNT and NOT a PUNISHMENT or a FINE!!!

It's a DISCOUNTED SALE of American Citizenship!!
