TX: County to vote on resolution opposing border fence
County to vote on resolution opposing border fence
By LAURA B. MARTINEZ, The Brownsville Herald
May 16, 2007 - 1:43PM
Cameron County Commissioners today will vote on a resolution opposing the construction of a border fence along the U.S.-Mexico border.
But, the resolution is most likely not to have any impact on the construction of the fence since other Rio Grande Valley officials learned on Tuesday that a fence will be coming to the area in 2008.
A portion of Cameron County’s resolution reads “although proponents of the fence on the US-Mexico border have stated that it is necessary to preserve national security, they have not called for a similar construction along the United States border with Canada.â€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

So we can build the fence on this side of them. They will be begging to come home, if we lock them out.
Brownsville ain't all that. One hell of an expensive school district full of Mexican children that cross the border every day.
