TX: County to vote on resolution opposing border fence

County to vote on resolution opposing border fence

Cameron County Commissioners today will vote on a resolution opposing the construction of a border fence along the U.S.-Mexico border.

But, the resolution is most likely not to have any impact on the construction of the fence since other Rio Grande Valley officials learned on Tuesday that a fence will be coming to the area in 2008.

A portion of Cameron County’s resolution reads “although proponents of the fence on the US-Mexico border have stated that it is necessary to preserve national security, they have not called for a similar construction along the United States border with Canada.â€

Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

So we can build the fence on this side of them. They will be begging to come home, if we lock them out.

Brownsville ain't all that. One hell of an expensive school district full of Mexican children that cross the border every day.
