MARBLE FALLS, Texas (KXAN) - If you've ever been around Sandy, 51 and Bobby Doyal, 68, in the last two years, you can tell a huge load has been lifted off their shoulders.

Sandy was heading home from the grocery store Wednesday night when her phone rang. Burnet County Sheriff W.T. Smith was on the line. But she waited until her husband got home to tell him the good news.

"When he got here, I was just sitting here grinning and he couldn’t figure out why," said Sandy.

Bobby said he could tell something was up when he walked in through the front door.

"I hadn’t seen her smile like that in a long time," said Bobby. "She's been smiling ever since. She's a different woman."

The man whose face they have not been able to block from their minds, Nuana Antonio Fuentes-Sanchez, had been caught.

"We've been told many, many times that you'll never see him, he'll never get arrested, he's gone, give it up," said Bobby. "But we wouldn't give it up."

Before a judge placed them under a gag order, the couple told KXAN News Sanchez was the most violent of the three men who broke into their home to rob them and beat them with the butt of rifles. Sandy said her hands were tied up and her head was covered with a pillowcase before she was raped over and over again.

He and two other men who were all from El Salvador were quickly found and arrested, but Sanchez managed to escape from the new Burnet County Jail several months later . During recreation time, officials said he climbed up the roof and lowered himself down an exterior drain pipe.

Something the Burnet County Jail did when Sanchez was booked in ultimately lead to his recapture. The Burnet County Jail scans the fingerprints off all illegal immigrants and send them to U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement.

Investigators had a good idea Sanchez had gone back to El Salvador, and re-entered the country. Police in Floresville, near San Antonio, arrested him on July 30 for public intoxication. According to the police report, officers spotted him having trouble balancing a six pack of beer on the handlebars of a bicycle. When they approached him he reeked of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test. After he put up a fight that lasted nearly ten minutes, they put him in the back a police car and drove him to the Wilson County Jail.

He was booked in under a fake name, but when ICE started questioning him and scanned for fingerprints, they realized they had a fugitive on their hands.

One of the Texas Rangers working on the Burnet County case happened to be in San Antonio. The Sheriff told him to go lay eyes on him so there would be no doubt he was the man they had been looking for. The ranger recognized him right away.

"The process worked and that's the bottom line," said W.T. Smith.

The Doyals give credit to Sheriff Smith and want the Floresville police officer who made the arrest to call them.

"I would like to treat him and his loved one to a nice steak dinner," said Bobby.

While Sanchez was on the run, Sheriff Smith and the Doyals both relied on prayer. The Doyals say their pastor also delivered a sermon last Sunday that was spot on.

"He said, 'trust God and everything else will fall in place' and that's what we've been reminding each other this week and sure enough, no coincidences," said Sandy.

The Sheriff is confident Sanchez will not slip away this time. He is in complete isolation and locked up in his own cell.

Yea, it does and that is why the OBL'ers and LaKKK hate any laws being enforced!

I am happy that the Doyal's may finally get peace of mind knowing all the animals that attacked them are where they belong!
