Couple arrested for human trafficking; 41 illegal immigrants

A couple was arrested for smuggling 41 illegal immigrants in three vehicles traveling north and in a home office which were Mexicans and Dominicans.

LAREDO , TX .- Marcia Lee Saldivar and her undocumented husband Juan Carlos Martinez Hernandez , were arrested in a double operation. She was first intercepted on highway 359 towards Hebbronville, as part of a convoy of three vehicles loaded with undocumented people.

The woman was driving a Dodge Stratus and inside were three men and three more in the trunk. She led law enforcement to her home, on Benavides street in Laredo, Texas, where they found her husband and other 41 illegal aliens.
