Thread: TX: Day laborers want JUSTICE!!!

Illegal day laborers are complaining about poor working conditions? Are these people for real?
We dont want illegal aliens congregating on street corners like a bunch of bums, looking for work. Their presence scares alot of people that have to walk near them.

"Day laborers provide essential labor in the Texas workforce and we believe that policy measures such as the Day Labor Protection Act are necessary to address the rampant abuses against working men and women who deserve respect for their hard work," said Rep. Eddie Rodriguez D-Austin, who introduced the bill, in a press release

What? The "Day Labor Protection Act" bill? What is this nonsense? Why do lawmakers go out of their way to protect illegal immigrants? It's beginning to feel a bit lopsided. Illegals have more people looking out for their behalf, than American citizens do.
