MLK’s legacy: Open borders?!

Organizers said they chose Janet Murguia, the president and chief executive officer of the National Council of La Raza, because of her message of unity and her opposition to a resurgence of hate speech in the immigration debate.

It’s the first time in more than two decades that the keynote speaker for the Birmingham event is not a white person or a black person.

Isabel Rubio, executive director of the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama, an affiliate of La Raza, said having Murguia on the program signals a recognition of the growing population of Spanish-speaking people in Alabama and a continuation of King’s dream.

Murguia said she intends to speak about common challenges and opportunities for blacks and Hispanics.

“We recognize that the immigration system is broken and it requires a serious debate,â€

The irony is that illegal aliens include racist criminal gangs who particularly hate blacks even engaging in 'ethnic cleansing' in California and New Jersey. Yet the self-proclaimed black leadership says nothing. The still trying to stay relevant NAACP says nothing. Their embracing of La Raza thereby supporting the illegal alien invasion pretty much says it all.

Talk about “stuck on stupidâ€

I'm sure that Dr. King is turning in his grave from the disrespect he received from La Raza's Janet from another planet. Whoever allowed her to speak is a traitor to America and the King legacy.

That's just what John Lillpop said in an email I received from him during a discussion I had with him on the issue: "MLK must be rolling over in his grave."
