Immigration enforcement sweep ends with 81 gang arrests

Federal agents and local law enforcement officers have arrested 81 foreign-national gang members, their associates and immigration violators in a multi-day operation that included several cities throughout the Dallas//Fort Worth area, according to a federal press release.

The operation which ended Saturday night was part of an ongoing national campaign by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement called “Operation Community Shield.â€

Now I wish they would arrest the ones that keep calling our US Senate!!!

Gang member and gang associate mean the same thing to me. They all need to be deported.

Please forward these stories---to people like Sen. Schumer who believe that our border has magically been secured.

More than 100 gang members arrested in Texas sweep

HOUSTON -- U.S. immigration officials said more than 100 street gang members have been arrested during days-long sweeps throughout Texas.

Officials said Tuesday that federal, state and local officers made the arrests as part of a national initiative targeting transnational gangs.

The Houston, Beaumont and Corpus Christi areas accounted for 80 of the arrests. Another 52 suspected gang members and 14 of their associates were arrested in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The sweeps also nabbed 36 suspected immigration status violators in southern Texas and 37 in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Officials said the suspects have ties to at least 14 groups, including Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Surenos Trece, Aryan Brotherhood, Latin Kings, La Raza13, Black Disciples, Houstone, Tango Blast, the Bloods and the Crips.

Did I hear Hannity say that Obama is looking for National Guard troops to patrol the border with no pay and no weapons? I feel a little cautious in even saying this...did anyone else hear this
