Immigration worries Hispanic delegates

HOUSTON — As a son and grandson of men who came to the United States without documents, Joe Martinez has cringed at some of the red-hot talk about unauthorized immigration he has heard this week at the Republican State Convention.

But Martinez can't forget a scene he witnessed when he was 12: a frightened, hungry family of four hiding in a cemetery on his family's ranch. Just as his father took food to the man, woman and children, he is looking for compassion and compromise by his party on the emotional issue
While his sentiments are warm and fuzzy this is not 14 years ago when he was 12 and some terrified, hungry family was huddled behind headstones on his family ranch, okay?
We've gone well beyond the point where compassion is to be shown for those who have displayed nothing but a blantant disregard and disrespect for this country, our flag, our laws, our sovereignty, the rights of Americans to work and support our own families, and made one unreasonable demand after another out of a sense of entitlement and some misguided notion that this country owes them everything.
We are talking about millions of illegal aliens who are destroying this country from the inside out, shredding American lives to tatters, collapsing our once great nation around our ears.
Compassion is in short supply these days.

Does this mean that people who enter the United States "without documents" (illegally) are allowed to apply for and obtain legal permanent residence (green card) status while still illegal aliens here without having to return to their home countries to apply? I keep reading stories about people who are now U.S. legal residents, and, indeed, U.S. citizens, in which it is reported that these people first entered the country as illegal aliens.

Aint buying it... the debate is over; the American People have spoken... not only are the Illegal Immigrants breaking the law... the Politicians are as well
The Illegal Aliens need to go home or be arrested and placed in internment camps.
The Politicians need to be booted out of office and put on trial for fraud, waste and abuse of tax payer funds and or Treason / SeditionJoin our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

As an anchor baby, Joe Martinez has enjoyed the American dream his entire life. Because more than half the legal Mexican immigrants first came here illegally, he represents the pinnacle of immigration law violations. Historically, Mexicans break the law, lie, commit fraud for years and then become legal residents. Ultimately, they achieve citizenship. Seems they've proven that crime pays in this nation of laws. They can spin this awful state of our union any way they want, but those 20 million illegal aliens soon will become 100 million citizens, all who gained a share of the dream by breaking the law. Whenever a Republican suggests compassion and compromise, I'm reminded of what might happen if I burglarized my neighbor's home and then asked the arresting officer if he'd be compassionate and consider a compromise. IMO, our enemies are our socialized government schools, our judicial system (particularly the SCOTUS), an administration that refuses to enforce the laws and a Congress that refuses to do make laws that are good for our sovereignty.

So yes, as you say it's time to lower the boom. Unfortunately, there are those who are not going to like it but that's their problem, same as their problems have always been THEIR problem.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
