Letter to feds calls proposal to send illegal immigrants through Texas 'costly'

    Oct. 31, 2009, 7:34PM

AUSTIN — Gov. Rick Perry has sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano urging the federal government to stop its plans to transport illegal immigrants from other states into Texas solely for the purpose of deportation.

Perry sent the letter on Saturday calling the proposed effort “unnecessarily burdensome and costly to taxpayers.â€

Why come to Texas at all? Once they leave their state of last residence, go directly to the border, & do not come to Texas.

This will just create a smuggling issue here. It's just relocating the problem, instead of combating it.

Why don't they bus them to DC, let them roam around the Capitol for a couple of days in leg-irons but with their hands free so they can paw on whomever they want in our Congress, I'm sure Pelosi would like a slap on the rump from a flirtatious illegal alien in leg-irons. I think it's very important that our members of Congress have a personal opportunity to get to know the people they want to give Amnesty to. Then we should drop by National Council of La Raza and do a nice long walk-through there as well, so Janet can get a feel from all the people she wants to give our country to.

Then, load them back up, drive them to the Navy Yard, put them on a Navy Ship, sail them down and around Florida, the same route the Navy took to get the medical ship to New Orleans during Katrina that took 5 days. Then sail them across the Gulf to the most southern point of Mexico, and while still at Sea in International Waters, transfer them to the Mexicans. Then hand Mexico the bill for it and if they don't pay it before the next load leaves the DC Docks, we freeze all remittances to Mexico until they do with late fees and interest of course.

Isn't it strange how Perry stands up for Texas more and more the closer the election gets?

Ha Ha Ha - yea. My first thought was to take some of the world's commercial ships that are currently parked on the oceans, weld leg irons into them, shackle the illegal-invaders into them, when a load fills up, sail them to the SOUTHERN edge of Mexico and dump them. It will take them a while to make it back up to the US.

But, I really like your idea of dumping them in DC for a while first. Ha Ha Ha. Good one. Also, YES, bill Mexico and freeze all of the remittances of our US dollars to Mexico until they pay. YES! None of the pathetic under-achievers in DC have the courage to be this Pro-American.

Oh yes - and our Gov. Rick Perry is sure acting up for the election - all of a sudden he is trying to appear big and bad. I remember that he was pro-Nafta super highway right thru Texas - he was going to profit financially from it somehow. It's election time, so profits will have to wait - need to look good for the election - have competition this round.

Government Urged To Stop Illegal Alien Transport Through Texas
    2009-11-01 11:51am

Texas Governor Rick Perry is urging the federal government to stop its plans to transport illegal aliens from other states into Texas solely for the purpose of deportation.

The Alien Transfer and Exit Program (ATEP), which is scheduled to begin tomorrow, would transport more than 34,000 illegal aliens per year through Presidio.

"Turning the Presidio area into a way station for the repatriation of illegal immigrants adds responsibility to local authorities and holds the potential of increasing the strain on local and state infrastructure and resources," Gov. Perry said.

"This plan will increase the likelihood that these individuals will immediately cross back into Texas, which is already bearing an uneven burden in dealing with immigration and border security issues along the Texas-Mexico border."

Gov. Perry said this program is a result of the federal government's continued lack of an effective strategy for dealing with border security.

"Texas is proud of its working relationship with the United States Border Patrol, and we have invested significant state resources to assist them in their worthy efforts. We will continue to request that the federal government send the adequate resources necessary to effectively secure the southern border," Gov. Perry said.

Since January, Gov. Perry has repeatedly urged the federal government, through letters to President Barack Obama, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, to approve his request for 1,000 Title 32 National Guardsmen to support civilian law enforcement efforts to enhance border security in Texas.

A porous border places Texas and the nation at risk from international terrorists, organized crime cartels and transnational gangs.

Gov. Perry said until the federal government fulfills its responsibility of securing the border, Texas will continue filling in the gaps by putting more boots on the ground, providing increased law enforcement resources and leveraging technology along the border.

In the absence of adequate federal resources to secure the state's southern border, Gov. Perry recently announced the state's latest border security enhancement using highly-skilled Ranger Reconnaissance (Ranger Recon) Teams to address the ever evolving threat along the Texas-Mexico border.

The state has dedicated more than $110 million to border security efforts in each of the last two legislative sessions.

Exactly! They aren't Pro-American, they're all thieves, traitors and thugs, parroting and puppeting for globalists, the very people our ancestors loaded up and ran from, crossed an ocean under threat of death and disease and drowning and who knew what laid ahead for 'em, but whatever it was, it couldn't be worse than what they were leaving behind ... which were aristocrats, globalists and hegemonists.
