Protesters clash over immigrationSaturday

SPRING, TX -- Activists both for and against undocumented workers clashed at a day laborer site in Spring.
Immigration activists lined up across the road from members of US Border Watch at a service station on Stuebner Airline today. The group has been protesting at the site for the past few months. The immigration activists accuse the group of spewing racial slurs at the workers and carrying concealed weapons to the protests. The president of US Border Watch denies that.
"It wasn't us making racial remarks this morning," said Curtis Collier with US Border Watch. "We have on tape that they were made to us. But we don't make racial remarks. If we observe a member of our group doing that, we remove them."
The group claims it isn't against all immigration, only illegal immigration. They're planning to expand their protests to other Houston locations.
