Truck loaded with pot gets stuck in sand

Click photo to enlarge«123»EL PASO -- A stolen truck filled with 1,915 pounds of marijuana bricks got stuck in the sand as it was being chased by Border Patrol agents Sunday near Santa Teresa, officials said.

The 2006 Ford F-250, which had been stolen in El Paso, set off a sensor when it was driven across the border in the remote desert near Camel Mountain. It was attempting to return to Mexico when it got stuck. Agents arrested Manuel Gavino Castillo Olivas but another man ran away. Marijuana bundles filled the covered bed and inside the extended cab.
