Two more members of a group that sold hundreds of fake immigration and identification documents in San Antonio and Austin were sentenced Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez cut one of the leaders of the ring, Gregory Hernandez Trolle, a break. Sentencing guidelines recommended 33 to 41 months for Hernandez, but Rodriguez gave him two years after he pleaded for leniency.

Hernandez admitted to agents that he made and sold at least 1,000 fake documents — green cards, ID cards, licenses and Social Security cards — in the first four months of 2010.

But the judge found Hernandez less culpable than the main organizer, Carlos Saldaña, who was sentenced Tuesday to 41 months in prison. Hernandez oversaw operations in San Antonio.

Rodriguez also sentenced one of the group's document vendors, Jairo Solis Rivera, to the eight months he's already been in jail. The ring totaled nine members of which three await sentencing.
