    In the continuing fallout over undocumented workers at the Duval County Courthouse construction site, City Councilman Stephen Joost said part of the reason he’s touring a JEA project zone Monday is to ensure everything’s on the up and up.

    Joost, who is council’s liaison to the city-owned utility, told the JEA board of directors today about his upcoming field trip to the future Greenland Energy Center. The Southside generating station will have two 177-megawatt natural gas powered turbines.

    Joost said he has no glaring reason to suspect the workers at JEA’s construction site are illegal immigrants, but he told the board that City Hall is becoming more vigilant because of the courthouse issue.
