U.S. Army North, the Army’s newest service component command reached full operational capability Monday, which means that it is fully manned, equipped and ready to assume its mission.

As part of Army transformation, USARNORTH was formed to become the dedicated Army service component command to Northern Command, the unified command responsible for defending the homeland and coordinating defense support of civil authorities.

Located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, USARNORTH achieved initial operating capability in September 2005, and is responsible for specific missions, including:


• Execute homeland defense and defense support of civil authorities missions.

• Provide training and readiness oversight of certified weapons of mass destruction—civil support teams.

• Conduct the Army-to-Army portion of the theater cooperation mission with Canada and Mexico.

• Coordinate the activities of defense coordinating officers and their elements assigned in each Federal Emergency Management Agency region.

• Organize up to two task forces that, with augmentation, can become joint task forces and deploy within the operational area to command and control Department of Defense forces responding to homeland defense or civil support operations.

For the past 12 months, USARNORTH has been building its organization, readiness and mission capability. USARNORTH officially assumed the Army component command duties from Forces Command on Oct. 1.


Not good not good at all, this means that the NAU has a army.

The command is the Army component of U.S. Northern Command and traces its lineage to the Fifth United States Army. The U.S. Army North mission includes homeland defense, support of civil authorities and theater security cooperation activities with the armies of Canada and Mexico.

It is the beginning of the end for us. As it says,"Execute homeland defense and defense support of civil authorities missions." What this means is that they are preparing for riot and public suppression when the rest of the country finally realizes what we already know. Based upon how quickly things are moving, we don't even have till the 2008 elections before we reach the point of no return.

They mean to box us up in detention centers if we rebell. Once your detained, there's no telling what will happen to you. The cost to feed, house and maintain millions of detainees will be staggering. We could probably count on being gased or burned alive. China has suceeded in convincing these corporate giants that communism, or facsism is the only way to go. So long, America, it was sweet while it lasted. Only the citizens are to blame for growing so complacent via the intoxicating effect of being preoccupied by material things, rather than participating in the system provided by our consitution.

Once it took two incomes for parents to make ends meet was the turning point for participating. People have been so pinned down and occupied by trying to make ends meet for the last 35 years, most of them didn't have the time to participate. Some of them didn't care in the first place, but those are the ones that will deserve what they are about to recieve.

Yesterday I heard on TV that the NAU has been set up so that every administration must continue to push it through. I don't understand exactly how this is or could be, but the person seemed to think that the next administration will not be able to make any changes and the same with the next one. It left one to think that even this administration could not stop it even if it wanted to.

Can anyone explain this more completely? I do not see how this could be possible, for U.S. officials to not be able to control what happens to the United States, but what this person said certainly was disturbing as far as thinking about how this could be stopped.
