U.S. attorneys couldn't believe what they saw

Border crime is a consuming issue for Karen Hewitt, the U.S. attorney in San Diego. So she recently took a visiting group of about 30 U.S. attorneys from across the country on a San Ysidro border tour.

Within five minutes, they saw weapons confiscated from a man considered armed and dangerous, a stash of marijuana detected in a smuggler's car and six illegal immigrants apprehended in another vehicle.

The whirlwind scenario left the visiting attorneys in disbelief. One asked Hewitt: “Did you stage this?â€

Maybe their next field trip should be to any local public school, to see first hand, the devastation caused by illegal immigration and their offspring....

No matter how many times I read stories like this, although I'm not surprised, I'm amazed that our elected officals allow this to occur. Yes, intentional use of the word 'allow' for if there was the political will, this insanity should and could have been stopped years ago.

We are working hard to build the finest 3th world country money can buy.

Good grief take them to Laredo Texas. Take them to the hospital in Texas that has been in lock down due to Mexican police officers coming for care after the drug cartels have tried to kill them. Let them visit the victims of illegal aliens and tell them they've had their heads in the sand for decades and to get with it.
