But, I think what 2ndamendsis was pointing out is that Rutgers is a state university but thinks like an Ivy Leaguer.

University of Virginia might be another Rutgers type "Ivy".

I listed to this Professor from U of Chicago....and well.....he was dog meat as you say. I was so astounded by his ignorant and impertinent remarks, I wanted to jump through the television and slap his face!! He was a lawyer, too!! Just back from a big meetin' where he had made his report!

You guys are right. As we all know, all of the U's are so left leaning, they have to use a cane to prop themselves up. I don't know how any of us can survive four years of those tenured sophists spouting their socialist drivel at us. It has been (should I admit this) 35 years since I was in college and I still remember it like yesterday. I had a poli sci prof from Bezerkley and he would argue with any comment I made that was even remotely conservative. As a student, you can't winthose arguments - they will flunk you. But as a successful adult, you can get back at them by becoming a rock-ribbed conservative and (this is my favorite part) when they send you those alumni letters asking for money - just throw the stupid things in the trash. Let them keep begging. I wouldn't give them a dime.

Rutgers? What is that? Just kidding. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill could give them a run for their money in the Marxist Hall of Fame competition. Actually, there are lots of them.

Maybe we should only elect high school grades with at least 20 years of solid non-governmental work experience. That way they would have at least had a chance to see what the real world is like instead of the insular world of academia and government.

That does it, no more college grads in the White House or Congress!
