8 Liner Raid

Undisclosed amount of money seized

SAN JUAN - An illegal 8 liner operation in San Juan is raided by the Hidalgo County District Attorney's Office. Police made the bust at Andy's Wireless Plus in San Juan.

Police confiscated seventeen 8-liner machines and seized an undisclosed amount of money.

Rolando Garcia with San Juan Police says, "I don't know if it's the greed of the business that they are going out and trying to make easy money. And this is the first for the city of San Juan P.D, like I said, we are assisting the D.A."

Police say that a woman who was in charge of the 8-liner operation is an illegal immigrant from Mexico and will likely be deported.
