Study says immigrants have lapped up every new job in UK since 2001

London, dec.16 : Immigrants have snapped up almost every new job created in Britain since 2001, according to a Migrationwatch research.

The research says 1.3million foreigners have flooded into the UK over the last seven years to take up employment.

But while Labour claimed to be behind a jobs boom, hardly any of the new posts have gone to British workers. Instead the vast majority went to immigrants, including 500,000 since 2004 taken by eastern Europeans, says the Daily Star.

Migrationwatch says little effort has been made to help jobless Brits find work. Instead, they have languished on the dole while foreigners - mainly Poles, Africans and Indians - have nabbed their jobs.

Migrationwatch says its dossier makes a mockery of Gordon Brown's "British jobs for British workers" pledge.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics show overall UK employment went up 320,000 from 29.17m in 2006 to 29.49m. But during that period the number of Britons in work actually fell by 149,000.

That is why I keep saying these b.s. stimuli packages are nothing more than massive tax payer subsidized illegal alien jobs giveaways for cheap labor for their corporate and Mexican government masters. Congress is proposing all these bailouts to provide welfare, food stamps, health care, education and other assistance to illegal aliens while they are employed in their 3.00/hr stimulus jobs.

What do you think Obama is about to do? He's about to start creating jobs and at the same time, not controll immigration.

Yeah Dixie it gives me the urge to look for a bunch of bananas.

My husband and son who builds and repairs homes can not even find a job anymore. The only ones who are working are foreigners. Drive by any construction job and look at who's working.

And not just Mexico. Both Ford, GM and Chrysler started to experience economic problems right at the time each of them started massive layoffs so that American jobs could be sent to India or H-1Bs from India could be sent to the US to throw more Americans out of work. The big three automotive companies plan to use bailout money (if they ever get it) to hire more workers from India to throw more Americans out of work to cause more economic problems for the US and automotive companies. This sounds like a recipe for disaster founded on mental illness, but it is happening because the decision makers, such as George Bush, are all multimillionaires who are insulated from the disasters of their decisions. They are more concerned about what expensive restaurant they are going to eat at that night than in the well being of the US and its citizens. After seeing GM's Rick Wagoner's pathetic performance at the Senate Hearings, We know that even the heads of the auto industries do not even have the well being of their own companies in mind.

Yes! Most of the so-called new infrastructure jobs Obama wants to create will be laborer and low paying grunt jobs, which will be filled with illegal aliens, as well as the forced welfare receipt that must work to get their welfare checks.

There will be no new jobs for the middle class and / or the middle management level people who lost their jobs.

This makes as much sense as the jobs numbers for November:
533,000 Americans lost jobs in November and yet the government accepted 140,000 new H1B2 visa jobs for foreign workers.

This is how we will be phased out of the American workforce, and will be the source of job riots in the coming months.
(Maybe as soon as the summer of 2009!)

Every country has the same problem and every country's citizens are falling for it...not one is fighting back and demanding the citizens have a right to the jobs...I guess this is globlization and citizenship means nothing anymore.

Don't countries have leadership for their citizens anymore??? It's becoming a mish-mash non-unified open border chaotic world.
