    Do "illegals" have 6 IDs?

    Do "illegals" have 6 IDs?

The Feb. 25 Press editorial "Don't license "illegals' " left me stuttering. It seems some grammatically challenged politician, Assemblyman Joseph Vas, D-Middlesex, is demonstrating that he is sorely in need of a dictionary. Vas apparently does not understand the word "illegal."

I'll try to say it in terms he may be able to grasp: Illegal means something you ain't supposed to do, like be in this country without permission. If you aren't legal, you're entitled to nothing, including a driver's license.

In fact, if you know of someone who is in this country illegally, you're supposed to tell the good guys so they can kick him out. If you fail to do that, you are aiding and abetting, also an illegal act.

I was born in Jersey City. Recently I had to obtain a new driver's license. I had my original yellowed and dog-eared birth certificate, honorable discharge, baptismal papers, marriage certificate and a few more pieces of identification attesting to who I was. Guess what? It seems that some where along the way, somebody in Jersey City's Hall of Records somehow invalidated my 75-year-old old birth certificate. I was required to obtain a replacement through Trenton.

Yet Vas would leap forward and assert the right of illegal immigrants to a driver's license? As I said, maybe I'm not getting it?

A friend of mine's boyfriend is a local police officer and we were talking about the illegal alien situation and he told about the time he pulled over a woman for speeding. He suspected she was an illegal, and when he asked for her ID, she fumbled around in her purse and out of her wallet fell 29 different State of California Benefit Cards. All with the same first name, but with 29 different Hispanic last names. After interviewing her more, she flat out told him she was an illegal, and told him to go ahead and report her to ICE, she said they won't pick her up anyway, and if they did, she would be back across the border in San Diego in 6 hours anyway, so why bother. He pretty much knew she was probably right, but was upset over the fact that she had 29 different State Benefit Cards, all real, but surely fraudulently obtained.

So like a good law enforcement professional, he called up the County of San Diego Welfare Dept. Fraud Unit and spoke to a supervisor. So what happened? The supervisor told him to just let her go, they didn't have the time or resources to even bother with someone with only 29 State Benefit Cards. Can you believe that crap? How screwed up is the Welfare Fraud Unit, when having 29 fraudulently obtained ID cards isn't even worth their time? I can't imagine how much merchandise she could rack up with these 29 welfare cards. I bet they all were filed with at least a dozen kids on each application, so she must get at least $1000 a month (a very conservative minimum) in welfare benefits for each card, multiplied by 29, that's $29,000 of fraud a month. And they don't consider that worth their time? No wonder so may illegals come here to get on welfare, they probably teach them in Mexico how to get as many CA State Benefit Cards as possible, just use a bunch of easy to get fake IDs, bring in a bunch of their relative's rugrats for show, and they've hit the jackpot.

No wonder the state's budget is so screwed up and near broke, they have to pay for all the different identities of the illegals scamming the system. Whenever I think about this story, it makes my blood boil. Whenever I see a Mexican at the grocery store using a EBT Card, Electronic Benefit Transfer Card, I always wonder, are they even legal? How many other cards do they use? And how many U.S. citizens are denied welfare while these scumbag illegals scam the system and we end up paying all of it. They load up on thousands of dollars worth of goods and sell them for cash no doubt, so thay can afford to drive their nice, new, trucks, SUVs and mini-vans.

He needed to cut part of the card so incase it had a magnet strip so it couldn't ever be swiped through again, confiscate them and mark them all as being "ILLEGAL ALIEN, BENEFIT FRAUD, VOID" with a sharpie marker and mark any id she has as ILLEGAL ALIEN and BENEFIT FRAUD and also put a snip in them so they can't be swiped through so even if they were returned to her they would be damaged so it would at least take some work/cash for her to get new ones...and if she didn't have any real id he should have taken in her car as possibly stolen somehow
