Some undocumented immigrants from Chicago are under arrest this afternoon in Washington after protesting in a U.S. Senate office building.
They’re among almost two-dozen young people who began sit-ins at the offices of five powerful senators.
The youths are demanding passage of the DREAM Act, a bill that would provide legal U.S. residency for college students and military personnel who’ve lived in the country since childhood.
