Border Patrol Agents Seize Marijuana Smuggled into U.S. Via Ultra-light Plane

Douglas, Ariz. - U.S. Customs and Border Patrol personnel collaborated to seize 210 pounds of marijuana dropped by an ultra-light aircraft near McNeal, Ariz. earlier this week. Early Tuesday morning, CBP's Office of Air and Marine alerted Border Patrol agents at the Douglas Border Patrol station of a possible ultra-light aircraft in the area. (more)

Border Patrol Agents Arrest Illegal Entrant, a Convicted Sex Offender

Del Rio, Texas - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Eagle Pass, Texas north station apprehended a convicted sex offender on Oct. 9. Agents patrolling near the Eagle Pass Port of Entry encountered Antonio Huerta-Gutierrez, 38, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico. (more)

Agents Seize more than $1.5 Million in Marijuana after Stopping Border Drive-Thru Attempt

CBP Seizes Cocaine, Heroin at El Paso, Texas Border Entry

El Paso, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the El Paso, Texas port of entry seized 17.95 pounds of cocaine and 2.85 pounds of heroin in one seizure Friday. The bust was one of eight drug seizures made by area CBP officers during the weekend. (more)

Border Patrol Arrests Illegal Entrant with Criminal Record

El Centro, Calif. - On Saturday afternoon, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a man who was previously convicted for Gross Vehicular Manslaughter while intoxicated. The arrest occurred at approximately 1 p.m., when agents from El Centro Station encountered a 30- year-old male wandering outside the El Centro Station. (more)
