Coming up on CNBC: Social Security in Trouble

If you have cable television available you might tune in to watch this. They just announced that their report would come up soon. In the next hour I hope.

And amnesty of illegal aliens would greatly add to our Social Security woes. There is nothing wrong with having them pay into our SS fund and receive no benefits. Just by coming here they have made a tremendous step up the ladder---we don't need to give them anymore in the name of "fairness."

You would think the looming Social Security deficit would be one argument to get the Obama generation on our side. If they are not already. Not only will they have to work longer to retire, but foreign citizens will be gobbling up their retirement money.

If the government hadn't "raided" the Social Security Trust for years for all of their social programs and pork, there wouldn't be a problem. They spent it and now they can't pay it back. Just my opinion.

Oh ------! Juan McCain was the first mug shot!

They are not even talking about the "externalized drains" that could happen in the future. Just for a reminder the SSI payments to foreign retirees do not come from the Soc. Sec. fund, although they are still paid by US taxpayers. But it is another substantial drain. Any amnesty would allow those new legalized residents to sponsor their relatives.

What could be better for a Mexican senior:
Your offspring get sent off to the US, for years they send money home to you, finally get amnestied and then sponsor you for an SSI retirement where you can get ten times what you would get in Mexico. Then, as others have done, you move back to Mexico and live like a king on your US dollars.

Could anyone here research which politicians were involved in the process that first allowed for the"borrowing" of SS funds. I just tried for 20 minutes and got absolutely nowhere.
