Update from the Border in CA while California burns

Here is what is happening today at Camp Vigilance.

Today is Tuesday and the winds at Camp Vigilance are still blowing, now it is down to 20-30 MPH and there are no reported fires in our area. Last night we jury rigged up our aux power genarator that HQ provided us with last summer. Demitrti came over last night around 1900 and plugged the genarator into the house power panel, we were able to get limited power for the refridgarators, some lights and the coffee maker, some power in the comm center to charge radios and the CCTV. We sent out teams last night to patrol the local roads, since BP had asked us to keep off of the border access roads during this emergency time. Our teams were out until 2200 and reported no incidents of smoke or fires either north, east or west of our area. Last night the winds were calmer than Sunday night by at least 20 MPH! and the temps were a little warmer also. This morning around 0700 we kicked in the genarator and feed the crew of 12 who were here breakfast Burritos and hot coffee!

After our meal we organized the people in camp and made a plan to go to the Campo Community Center where evacues numbered over 100 with expectations of more as the day progressed. We offered our services, and they said that it would be good to have a site security for the facility to protect the area from vandelism and theft, also to assist with parking and traffic control if necessary. We were asked to staff the site with our people for the next 24 hours. Our teams will divide the hours and we will be there to provide the needs of the community here. Again the minutemen are helping the community, where in the HELL is the ACLU Now, why aren't they doing something to HELP the community in times of need? Hello SPLC, are you coming to CA to help with disaster relief? NO! But the minutemen ARE, and will do what our government can't do alone, help protect the citizens of this great country. As thousands of homes are lost in the state of California, fires continue to rage uncontrolled and new fires are starting up in new areas.

Here at Camp Vigilance we are self contained, the power came on today around 1000 and we are now on the grid power. All of the RV's, and comm center has power, and the water heater still soon be warm enough for the first showers in 4 days!

I know, you don't need that visual!

PS: Let the world know what the Minutemen & women are doing, because we care about America!
