Alabama Congressman says he's may reject trade pact
The Associated Press
July 20, 2005
Alabama U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt says he's leaning toward a "no" vote on the Central American Free Trade Agreement.
The Haleyville Republican met with President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney yesterday at the White House to discuss the upcoming House vote on CAFTA. The trade pact has passed the Senate. Jeff Sessions voted "yes" while Richard Shelby voted "no."
Aderholt, in a statement, described the meeting as constructive and valuable. He said he shared the concerns that people from the Fourth District have about CAFTA.
Aderholt said he plans to continue working with the Bush administration addressing other trade issues, including those concerning the hosiery industry.
The House of Representatives is expected to vote on CAFTA before summer recess begins at the end of next weekI stay current on Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's fight to Secure Our Border and Send Illegals Home via E-mail Alerts (CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP)

He needs to make up his mind and not lean. If he leans the wrong way he needs to be pushed out of office for TREASON.I stay current on Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's fight to Secure Our Border and Send Illegals Home via E-mail Alerts (CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP)
