US seizes 7 tons of marijuana at border crossing

CALEXICO, Calif.: U.S. authorities say they discovered more than seven tons of marijuana inside a truck that was crossing from Mexico to California.

Customs and Border Protection officials said Monday that officers found more than 14,000 pounds of marijuana mixed in with plastic items Friday night at the crossing in Calexico, about 120 miles east of San Diego.

U.S. authorities valued the drugs at nearly $6 million.

The agency says a 32-year-old man from Mexicali, Mexico, was arrested and is being held in Imperial County Jail.

The seizure came one day after border authorities in San Diego discovered more than 5,500 pounds of marijuana inside a truck, mixed in with boxes of jalapeno peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes.

That much POT well, and mexico wants the USA and they have basically
DEMANED that the USA gives mexico 1.4 billion dollars,
yeah for more drugs to bring over.

I dont see how the governemnt of the USA can give the mexico government
1.4 billion dollars when we have to help our people the AMERICANS. Yet we seem to have enough money to constantly give to other COUNTRYS,
and yet AMERICA is the most HATED COUNTRY in the world. But, when someone wants and DEMAND money, they can get it.

Who owned the truck?
What was the truck's destination?
Is the truck part of Bush's pilot truck program?

Given the amount of illegal drugs and illegal aliens carried into the U.S. in trucks, they need to ban trucks from entering this country. SUV's, vans, trailers, and pick-ups should be also banned.

How can Nafta, Cafta, and the SPP be legally binding? President Calderon's government is NOT in charge of the entire country of Mexico especially the northern states bordering the U.S. which are the most critical.
