DMV employee pleads guilty to issuing licenses to illegal aliens.

On Friday, former New Hampshire Department of Motor Vehicles employee, Donna Rockholt pleaded guilty to multiple, charges including bribery and theft.

According to prosecutors, in exchange for $500, Rockholt would provide driver’s licenses to illegal aliens without asking for proper documentation.

She is believed to have issued about 70 of the bogus licenses.

Prosecutors are asking that she be sentenced to 12 years in prison.

This type of corruption is becoming more commonplace across the country.

In July 2010, Texas Department of Public Safety employee, Gracie Gutierrez, 27, was arrested for taking bribes in exchange for issuing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. She was caught in an undercover sting.

Gutierrez is alleged to have issued the licenses without ever even administering the required DPS tests.

Gutierrez, who lives in Houston, was charged with bribery and is being held in the Harris County Jail on $50,000 bond.

A co-worker, Saul Ramirez, 20, was also nabbed in the bribery investigation. He is being held on $35,000 bond.

In December 2009, seven employees at the Florida state license bureau in Delray Beach were arrested in a similar bribery investigation. The scam allegedly put drivers licenses in the hands more than 1,500 illegal aliens.

Police in Palm Beach arrested Willy Adam, 52, and charged him with five counts of unlawful compensation to reward official behavior, and two counts of conspiracy, both felonies.

At his arraignment, Palm Beach County Assistant State Attorney Alan Johnson, told Judge Ted S. Booras that Adam is not a U.S. citizen and presents a flight risk. He is currently in the West Palm Beach county Jail on $145,000 bail.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Adam in September, along with six others accused of facilitating the scam by issuing bribes, making phony immigration documents, and escorting the illegal aliens to the DMV employees in question.

According to police, the license bureau examiners in question issued licenses to the illegal aliens without administering either a driving or written test.

The DMV employees allegedly received between $1,200 to $2,500 per license, while prosecutors believe that those involved made several millions of dollars in the illegal operation.

I bet checking any DMV across the US will find this issue in every office. We need to establish a new way and accountability to check everything including keeping a copy of required documents to get a DL or state ID on file.

I wouldn't mind paying the extra fee to get a new ID if it required stringent checks and proof one is a citizen personally. But of course if we combined many of the databases we keep between states and to a federal level would be easy. Have Vital records (Birth certificates) all electronically registered besides the paper version in vaults, and have all that cross checked between SS and DL's. I personally like having state databases all cross tied into a federal database that can pull up all the information at a mouse click.

But then I'm one of those crazy old geezers who say only the guilty have something to hide.

In most government offices I've gone in to in the last 20 years all I've seen is immigrants. I guess these are jobs Americans won't do. The post offices in California seem to be manned by Asians. In Arizona it was Hispanics. In Arizona laws were passed several years ago to stop tax payer money for non-emergency services. A few later they found they were not being enforced. Gee, if most of the people working in government offices are immigrants, why on earth would they even care about our laws. I just don't see immigrants caring about our country the way they do their homelands and selling us down the river has no meaning to them. Call me a racist. I don't care anymore. I just don't see it.

Those people are just millions of criminals spread all through this Country and we have citizen criminals assisting them with the worst crime offenses anyone can ever imagine would be possible. We need to put together one of the larges (Task Force) we can create just to wipe those type of schemers out because there are many more out there committing the same crimes or worst ones.
