Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies raided a Mesa dry cleaning business and arrested six employees on charges of having fake immigration documents.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio says Wednesday morning's raid on Monte Carlo $2.25 Dry Cleaners came after a hotline tip that 11 of the 18 employees had false identification.

When deputies arrived, they arrested six of the seven female employees for having false documents.

Arpaio says the women will be charged with a class four felony and won't be eligible for bond.

Deputies will continue to investigate five employees who weren't at work when the raid occurred.

MESA, AZ - Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies conducted an immigration raid on a business in the east Valley Wednesday morning.

The raid came as the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors held a hearing on pay roll discrepensies from the Sheriff's Office.

"Once we heard that was going to happen we knew there would be a raid, " said Lydia Guzman, an immigration activist with Somos America. "There is a problem with the office and no amount of raids is going to distract from that."

Sheriff's spokesman Jesse Spurgin said a search warrant was served at Monte Carlo Dry Cleaners, near University and Stapley drives in Mesa.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio said six people were taken into custody, and they are looking for five others who did not show up for work.

"There is no excuse for people using fake ids, " he said. He called the timing a coincidence and said too that the raid was in the works for the past three weeks.

Arpaio said all 11 are in the U.S. illegally and were using stolen identification to get work at the business. The raid was the result of a tip phoned in to the sheriff's illegal immigration hotline.

There was no immediate word on whether the business owners face any charges.

The raid was part of Operation Desert Sky, a county wide initiative led by the sheriff to crack down on illegal human and drug trafficking. Operation Desert Sky was launched two weeks ago.

According to the sheriff's office, so far there have been 188 arrests, "of which 151 are suspected illegal aliens involved in human smuggling activities." Three thousand pounds of marijuana has also been seized in the operation.

And then there are corrupt open borders and illegal immigration proponents as Guzman who believe illegal aliens have the right to violate our laws, borders, sovereignty and use stolen identities to commit welfare, other fraud, take jobs from Americans, and in her minuscule mind Americans whose lives are ruined by illegal alien identity thieves be damned......Beyond unbelievable when putzes as her support and justify identity theft and violation of other laws by those with no legal right to be here. Thank you Sheriff Joe.
By the way ICE just arrested 14 illegal aliens for using stolen identities to work at 2 McDonalds Restaurants in my area where the unemoyment rate is 10 percent and the poverty rate is 23 percent. 14 more innocent Americans are victims of identity theft and their credit ratings and lives have been ruined by those with no legal right to be in this country.
There is no freedom without the law. Remember our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live in freedom.

If Sheriff Joe can do it, why can't the rest of the police departments across this country do it? Plenty of illegal invading advocates cry foul, but Sheriff Joe has been allowed to continue with his efforts to enforce the law, which mean his efforts are completely lawful, despite what his opponents claim.
