The Rights Working Group, a national coalition of more than 250 community-based groups and national organizations, will kick off a new campaign Thursday.

The Night of 1,000 Conversations is aimed at having people across the country gather in homes, offices, coffee shops and places of worship to talk and generate a response to hold the U.S. Department of Homeland Security accountable for what the Rights Working Group calls the continuous undermining of the civil liberties and human rights of people in the U.S.

The group wants the Department of Homeland Security to end immigration raids that lock up people without due process; ensure safe humane detention conditions and access to a trial; and provide fair and efficient mechanisms to end the backlog in processing citizenship applications by September.

“Our hope, is that by holding these conversations across the country, we can promote awareness of these issues and mobilize people to take action,â€

No, it wants Homeland Security to be UNACCOUNTABLE.

Remember, we're in a Period of Ironies and Opposites with our enemies supporting illegal aliens.

This is the Steering Committee for the Rights Working Group for their Night of 1000 Conversations to shut down Homeland Security: (same o, same o)

    RWG Steering Committee

The Steering Committee leads the coalition and establishes the overall policy and campaign goals. Members of the Steering Committee represent various sectoral interests, including organizations that focus on human rights, civil liberties, immigrant rights, and civil rights; and are based in local and national areas. Members of the Steering Committee are:

    American-Arab Anti Discrimination Committee
    American Civil Liberties Union
    American Immigration Lawyers Association
    Arab American Institute
Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services
    Asian American Justice Center
    Bill of Rights Defense Committee
    Breakthrough
    Center for National Security Studies
Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles
    Hate Free Zone
    Human Rights First
    Human Rights Watch
Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights
Leadership Conference on Civil Rights & LCCR Education Fund
    Muslim Public Affairs Council
    National Council of La Raza
    National Immigration Forum

    New York Immigration Coalition
    Open Society Policy Center
    South Asian Americans Leading Together
Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition

Many of these organizations, like National Council of La Raza are using taxpayer funds to underwrite their Night of 1000 Conversations to tell our Department of Homeland Security to back off their job to defend our nation.

These are Traitors of the United States and the American People.

Pass the FairTax and Shut These Traitors Down, once and for all, pull the plug and put them out of business now.
