SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Attorney General's Office is investigating two DWS employees believed to have created a list of 1,300 alleged illegal immigrants.

The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting one of the women is Teresa Bassett, a 15-year state employee and computer specialist. The newspaper says it got Bassett's name from sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Wednesday, Attorney General Mark Shurtleff said, "Our investigation will be thorough and swift. If there is evidence of wrongdoing, we will pursue the appropriate action."

Comment: I guess they think SHE is the criminal and not the illegals on the list. She probably thought she was being patriotic and doing the right thing. All it did is cost her job, benefits and she will probably face fines and jail time. In the meantime, how many illegals on that list have had their benefits cut off?
