Guatemalans killed, injured in immigrant smuggling crash identified

Posted: 5:54 PM- The Guatemala Consulate identified two people who died in a pickup rollover incident in southern Utah.
Senayda Solis Monzon, 37, of Retalhuleu, Guatemala, and Pedro Antonio Coycoy, 26, of La Libertad, Guatemala, were reported to be among eight people traveling in a Ford F-150 on June 7.
The two died at the scene after being ejected from the truck, reports said. The truck overturned about 20 miles east of Hurricane on State Road 59, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Guatemala Consulate Alfredo Vasquez said arrangements are in process for the victims' bodies to be transported to family members in Guatemala sometime next week. Vasquez said family contacted the consulate right away to identify the bodies.
Names of four survivors, all Guatemala nationals, were also released Wednesday. They were identified as Auder Bautista Beltran, 18; Rolando Ramirez Gonzalez, 24; Marvin Eduardo Barrios, 35; Elvira Valenzuela, 18.
The fifth survivor, identified as Eswin Enrique Aquino-Lopez, also of Guatemala, is believed to have been the driver of the truck. He is scheduled to be arraigned today on charges of transporting illegal aliens resulting in death.
Police refused to release the identity of the sixth survivor, believed to be a Mexican.
