VA. Governor McDonnell Tells DMV Stop Taking Work Auth Card
McDonnell tells Va. DMV to stop accepting federal employment card
Washington Examiner
By: David Sherfinski
Gov. Bob McDonnell told Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles to stop accepting a federally issued work authorization card as proof of legal status in the United States — an action stemming from an August incident in which an alleged drunken driver killed a nun.
Carlos Martinelly Montano, 23, whom police charged in the crash, received the card — called an Employment Authorization Document — in January 2009 as federal officials were planning to deport him after two drunken-driving convictions in 2007 and 2008.
Montano, who had been smuggled into the country as a child, used the document to prove his legal status while applying for a Virginia ID card, according to police. He did not have a driver’s license.

Deport all illegal aliens
ILLEGAL ALIENS MUST BE DEPORTED. ILLEGAL ALIENS MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES. ONCE OUR AUTHORITIES FIND OUT AN INDIVIDUAL IS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN, THAT PERSON MUST BE DEPORTED. THOSE ILLEGAL ALIENS MIGHT HAVE ISSUES PENDING IN COURT, BUT THOSE ISSUES SHOULD BE RESOLVED RIGHT AWAY. WE MUST NOT WAIT FOR YEARS OR MONTHS.

Somebody fire this idiot Claire!! There is something wrong with the document you fool, and just who was the idiot that made up I-766, I guarentee you it was not our law makers in DC, who we elect ( regretfully sometimes but still
), which tells me it is illegal and made up by someone who is way out of their scope of duty!
[quote]But the issue is not the document, said Claire Guthrie Gastanaga, a former chief deputy attorney general for the state and immigrant advocate.
