I wondered why some of these pages get so irritating long. After a while I just pass them up.

Don't they have to go through U.S. customs to enter this country, the only thing this is good for is to get into Mexico, so hit the road folks!!

He said in order to receive a Mexican passport or a consulate ID card, a Mexican citizen must submit a birth certificate, at least one form of ID, and proof of their address in the U.S.

From what I understand, it's not difficult to provide those documents! I hear anyone can by quality fake documents on the street. Hey, if they must provide their address, why can't our government request the information be turned over to ICE? If they refuse, kick the consults out of the country! I know, it'll never happen, but for a fleeting moment - it was a nice thought.

Why isn't our U.S. Congress attempting to do something about this? Illegals lives in this country shouldn't be made easier with passports and ID cards. Heck, our government should be doing all it can to make their life miserable, not standing by while the Mexican Consults make it easier.

Mexico does not even know when these people were born. How are we supposed to find out?

This article is dated July 1,2007-PWC passed their new enforcement law this past week(July9-13,2007).Is it just me or does the timing of this document hand-out scheme seem a little coincidental?
Also how did they produce a bio-metric card right there ?
