In the right place at the right time with the right message

While former Californian State Assemblyman Howard Kaloogian, candidate for Duke Cunningham's vacant northern San Diego congressional seat, was holding a press conference in the border town of San Ysidro to accept the endorsement of the San Diego Minutemen, a van carrying twenty criminal invaders crashed nearby, injuring eight occupants.

Minutemen supporters of Kaloogian's bid for congress attending the press conference could actually smell the vehicle's fluids as they ruptured onto the heated engine compartment of the overturned van. Minutes later, several emergency vehicles, provided at your expense, rushed by to render assistance.

San Diego Police stated that the vehicle was not being pursued but ran a red light and crashed within sight of the Otay Mesa port of entry.

In addition to accepting the local Minutemens' endorsement, candidate Kaloogian unveiled his proposal to require proof of citizenship or legal residency when sending a wire transfer out of the country. This would help to shut off a multi-billion dollar conduit of capital flight out of the US and to remove a major incentive to illegal aliens who enter this country unlawfully.
