Thread: Vatican says pollution is also a sin

I'm with Airborne Sapper. The child thing was and is one of the most heinous sins committed against mankind and they knowingly committed it against the most innocent of mankind and then covered it up. I don't hold this against everyday Catholics since they were in the dark as much as we all were. But I hold it against the Pope, and every last bishop, priest.

Really? Which Commandment does that fall under? Is the Vatican rewriting the 10 Commandments now?

Nobody in the enviromental movement has ever said that CO2 is a natural and harmlesss gas which we exhale. People have the impression, they are talking about real pollution. They show pictures of smokestacks belching steam. It's all an attempt for govt to gain control of energy.

And to think, only a few short years ago, they were actually thinking of spreading soot on the poles to help them MELT. How stupid do they think we are???? It's much like the ancient Egyptians telling the people if they didn't offer tribute, the sun would disappear. They knew about eclipses, but the people didn't. The Gore crowd is trying to pull the same thing. We have a cooling/heating cycle about every 35-40 years and they figured they had a lot of time to bilk the people before the next one started or they could, so how, take credit for the change.
