    Vicente Fox, wife speaking tonight

    The former president of Mexico and his wife will serve as speakers for the Boe Forum on Public Affairs at 7 p.m. today at the Elmen Center.

    Vicente Fox, president from 2000 to 2006, will discuss his business-centered approach to the development of Mexico, the future of the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and opportunities available for international corporations in the region. He is credited as playing a vital role in a making Mexico a Democratic country and strengthening its economy.

    His wife, Marta, is one of the world's prominent activists on social and economic equality. She will address progress made and the road ahead in the struggle for gender equality.

    Isn't it ironic that she is called "one of the world's prominent activists on social and economic equality" and her countrymen are leaving Mexico by the MILLIONS?
