When are these Mosques going to be ransacked and shut down?

These people do not belong in our country nor does this Religion of hate and oppression.

They are not free, bound by 1000s of years of hate.

Investigators are believed to be looking for others who were involved in the Vienna attack.

Update (0845ET): Austrian police have arrested a man in Linz, the third-largest city in the country and the capital of the northern part of the country, according to reports by a local broadcaster, cited by Reuters.

The individual, described as an Islamist, was led out of the house in handcuffs by heavily armed police. The individual was identified by some media as a "suspect" in Monday's attack.
It's not clear yet whether the individual arrested is linked to the attacks.

Now that the dust has cleared, police in Vienna have finally had some time to piece together more details from Monday's brutal attack in the Central European city. Vienna is a European cultural powerhouse, but it has seen far fewer terror attacks over the last 20 years than many of its neighbors. But on Monday night, a gang of assailants struck at six areas in downtown Vienna, attacking pedestrians and police.
Overnight, the number killed in the attack swelled to 5, 4 victims, and 1 assailant, while 17 others were wounded in the shooting, The dead attacker was identified as a 20-year-old Austrian-North Macedonian dual national who had one prior terror conviction. Interior Minister Karl Nehammer confirmed that the prior conviction was for membership in a terrorist organization. The attacker who was killed, whose name was Kujtim Fejzulai, was sentenced to 22 months in prison in April 2019 because he had tried to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State, though he was granted early release under juvenile law.
At least one other attacker is believed to be on the run, Nehammer said. The terrorist who was shot in killed was wearing what authorities initially believed to be an explosive vest, though it "turned out to be a dummy".
His apartment was raided in the night, authorities said. Though there were reports on Monday about a gang of attackers striking at six separate locations, it's currently unclear exactly how many participated in last night's attack. The FT and AP reported that it isn't clear whether Fejzulai, a known ISIS member, was acting alone.
The victims included two men and two women. 7 others are in life-threatening condition from gunshot wounds and cuts. During comments made early Tuesday morning in Vienna, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz affirmed that the incident was "clearly an Islamic terror attack."
"It was an attack out of hatred for our fundamental values, hatred for our way of life, hatred for our democracy in which all people have equal rights and dignity."
Authorities still couldn't say whether more attackers might be on the run. Workers were asked to stay home if possible on Tuesday, and children were dismissed from school until further notice. The city's public transit was closed.
Some 1,000 officers were on duty to help with the investigation while the army was brought in to guard soft targets across the city.
The shooting started at around 2000 local time as people headed downtown to enjoy one last drink before new coronavirus lockdown measures came into effect. The assailant who was killed was shot at around 2010, according to Vienna police chief Gerhard Puerstl.

Kurz's government ordered three days of official mourning, with flags to be flown at half-mast. A minute of silence was held at noon on Tuesday.
Thousands of videos purporting to show the incident were uploaded to social media last night, authorities said, including the video below, purporting to show the moment a terrorist was captured.

The video below was among the earliest to hit social media after news of the attacks broke.

The attack comes as France has been hit particularly hard, with at least two incidents where victims were 'decapitated' by attackers armed with knives last month. President Emmanuel Macron publicly defended the right for secularists to publish cartoons featuring the prophet Mohammad. Several Muslim world leaders have attacked Macron for his defense of the Charlie Hebdo cartoons. A class on freedom of expression featuring the cartoons allegedly motivated a young Islamic extremist to murder French teacher Samuel Paty.
Leaders from around the world offered their condolences to Austria, and condemned all violence tied to radical Islamist extremists.

UK Raises Terror Alert Level To "Severe", Meaning Attack "Highly Likely"

    Tue, 11/03/2020 - 11:50

Days after imposing a one-month (at a minimum) lockdown, the UK is raising its terror alert level to "severe" (from "substantial"), meaning an attack is "highly likely" following Monday's attack in Vienna, and the attacks last month across France.
Another suspect in last night's attack was arrested in Linz, the capital of Upper Austria, just this morning, and Austrian officials have been suspiciously mum on the number of assailants who managed to escape the scene last night (one attacker was killed, at least 2 have been arrested). The death toll in yesterday's shooting has climbed to 4.

Three people were killed in a knife attack in Nice, one of several attacks that unfolded last month, which prompted French President Emmanuel Macron to declare a crackdown on Islamic terror.
Assessments of threat levels are taken by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Center, which is part of MI5. They include:

    • Low - an attack is highly unlikely
    • Moderate - an attack is possible but not likely
    • Substantial - an attack is likely
    • Severe - an attack is highly likely
    • Critical - an attack is highly likely in the near future

To be sure, Wales' two-week firebreak lockdown is nearing its end, but England's lockdown is just beginning. People are already terrified enough by the resurgence of the coronavirus across the continent. The British terror level was finally lowered to substantial in November 2019 from severe for the first time in 5 years. Severe is the second-highest level, with only "critical" above it.
Though an attack is now deemed "likely", the alert doesn't offer any advice other than for Britons to remain 'alert'.
Home Secretary Priti Patel described the move as a "precautionary measure" and said it was "not based on any specific threat".
"The public should continue to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police," she said.
But the alert is bound to cast a distinctly Orwellian pall over life in the UK, as fear, surveillance, violence and death become the backdrop to ordinary life.

Airbornesapper07, it is good to see and to know the dangers and evil acts these people are participating in against innocents in other nations. More attacks are coming as we read and hear.

Why in the name of diversity or a need for workers or for whatever reason given, do Western countries encourage and invite in mass Western hating people. These evil doers are coddled and certain of their acts are hidden. Refugee resettlement outside of neighboring areas and open borders is an invitation for a nation's suicide by fundamental transformation. Culture is lost and a cohesive society is impossible.

Multiculturalism is not the great panacea that has been portrayed over the years without strict controls over who is coming and for what reasons. In America, we have invited our enemies, those not wanting to assimilate or to become American, those wanting to hurt us.

1965 immigration changes have been a disaster for America. Not pausing for periods has been a disaster. These deadly attackers are in our borders, too.

Our election fights today are being greatly influenced by bad immigration choices since 1965.

How jihadist duped officials into believing he was no danger: Vienna shooter said 'attending the wrong mosque' led him astray and insisted he renounced ISIS ideals during his terror trial

    • The Vienna gunman Kujtim Fejzulai, 20, was arrested in 2019 for joining ISIS
    • He was sentenced to 22 months in prison and granted early release in December
    • The terrorist said he joined because he wanted his 'own apartment' and income

The Vienna gunman Kujtim Fejzulai duped officials in a 2019 trial by saying he had been led astray by the 'wrong mosque' and had renounced his ISIS ideals.
Fejzulai, 20, was jailed in April 2019 because he wanted to travel to Syria to join ISIS but he was granted early release in December under juvenile law.
He was not deemed capable of carrying out an attack, according to a report.

At least one terrorist started shooting close to a synagogue in Vienna's city centre as four were killed and 17 were injured at 8pm last night.

Police are reportedly investigating whether this man pictured is the Vienna killer, according to Austrian media. The caption pledges allegiance to the leader of ISIS Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi. Nehammer told APA that Fejzulai had posted a photo on his Instagram account before the attack that showed him with two of the weapons he apparently used

Armed with an automatic rifle, pistol and machete, Fejzulai was 'neutralised' at 8.09pm after marauding through the streets wearing a fake explosives belt.
Fejzulai made it all the way to an ISIS safe house on the Turkish border with Syria last year before he was stopped by local police.
It emerged in Fejzulai's trial in April, 2019, during which he said that he had 'got into the wrong mosque' in 2016.
He said in the trial he did not feel disadvantaged growing up and began studying Islam in the middle of puberty.

Asked why he had tried to join IS, the Austrian-born terrorist told the judge: 'I wanted to get away from home. I expected a better life.
'My own apartment, my own income.'
But he had earned enough through his summer job in 2018 to buy plane tickets to Kabul where he had arranged to meet ISIS contacts.
It was only after buying the ticket that Fejzulai realised he needed a visa to travel to Afghanistan.
On September 1, 2019, Fejzulai arrived in Syria alone. He spent two days in a 'rat hole,' his lawyer told the court, with 'no shower, no toilet, [and] no running water'.

Vienna police said in a Twitter post there had been 'six different shooting locations' with 'one deceased person' and 'several injured', as well as 'one suspect shot and killed by police officers'

He was captured by police after two days and detained in Turkey for four months before being extradited back to Austria where he went under trial.
His defence lawyer Rudolf Mayer told the court Fejzulai had denounced his IS ideals after his arrest.
He said: 'How can I change the ideology of a suicide bomber? Not with high fines. You have to change your mind.
'If [Fejzulai] had not attended a mosque but a Kung Fu school, [he] would have gone to Tibet and become Shaolin monks.'
Despite facing between one and ten years imprisonment for membership in a criminal organisation and a terrorist organisation, he was given a reduced sentence of 22 months was granted early release from prison in December.

Fejzulai was born and raised in Vienna and was one of 90 Austrian Islamic radicals known to intelligence because they wanted to travel to Syria, a national newspaper editor tweeted this morning.
He had Albanian roots and his parents were originally from North Macedonia, Falter editor Florian Kenk wrote.
Police thought he was not capable of planning an attack in Vienna, Klenk added.
Nehammer told APA that Fejzulai had posted a photo on his Instagram account before the attack that showed him with two of the weapons he apparently used.
'(The suspect) was equipped with a fake explosive vest and and an automatic rifle, a handgun and a machete to carry out this repugnant attack on innocent citizens,' Nehammer said.

One of the women killed in yesterday's attack was a waitress who died of gunshot wounds in hospital overnight and another, who was aged in her 40s, later died in the Ottakring Clinic, local reports said.
One of the male victims was discovered in the meat market, while another was found gravely wounded on Franz-Josefs-Kai, close to the Wien river.
A police officer was also shot and seriously injured. Seven of the 17 victims being treated in hospital are in a critical, life-threatening condition, according to Austrian news agency APA.
According to Interior Minister Karl Nehammer, police are searching for more possible assailants who may still be at large, and several neighbouring countries have stepped up border checks.
'It's difficult for us at the moment to define whether the attack was carried out by one perpetrator or more than one,' said Gerhard Puerstl of the Vienna police.

Heavily armed police officers who moved in last night as at least one gunman terrorised the Austrian capital

The shooting erupted just hours before Austria was to re-impose a coronavirus lockdown, with people out in bars and restaurants enjoying a final night out.
Austria had until now been spared the sort of major attacks that have hit other European countries, but Monday's shooting followed a spate of Islamist attacks in France and it triggered an outpouring of solidarity from world leaders.
The shocked nation began three days of mourning after what Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz described as a 'repulsive terror attack'.
Across the country, flags have been lowered to half mast on public buildings and people observed a minute of silence at noon as church bells rang out.
