Voter fraud alert: Watch Virginia

Lots of Virginia readers are disturbed by a report in the Virginia Pilot yesterday on loosened voter registration rules for college students. Red flagging it:

[quote]Norfolk election officials on Friday reluctantly loosened procedures for registering college students to vote after protests from presidential candidate Barack Obama’s campaign and an admonishment from state election officials.

The Illinois senator’s campaign complained that the Norfolk registrar’s policy of sending a questionnaire to anyone applying to register from a college campus discouraged students from following through. The State Board of Elections asked general registrar Elisa J. Long to halt the practice.

The Norfolk Electoral Board agreed to that but said in a statement: “This compliance is with the understanding that the Board strongly feels that by doing so, we are out of compliance with Virginia Election Laws.â€

We need a federal law that will see to the enforcement of stricter guidelines for the ID requirements that are presented by anyone wanting to vote. Think about everyone from the candidates themselves all the way down to the voter registrator that is subject to corruption or is already corrupt. A voter's registration should carry much more weight than it does now. It should confirm that the holder is a confirmed and certified citizen under strict guidelines and obtaining one through this kind of process should be a goal of evey LEGAL visitor and citizen. Those who do not participate should be deported after 1 year and not eligible for 3 years to re-enter, barring any crimes comitted.

Exit polls should be illegal. Those polls do nothing more than sway the opinion of the voters that have yet to vote. If a person needs to find out who's leading in an election before that person casts his/her vote, then that person shouldn't be voting.

This is a test, only a test. ........who wants to bet this election will reside with electorial votes because voter fraud will be so rampent and our votes won't matter? Who wants to bet how many electorial votes haven't already been bought off in the mean time? Takers?

I see nothing wrong with asking this question. College students often live in different states than the college they attend, they can only vote in ONE state. Obama wants them to vote in TWO states? The man is a menace!

Our govenment is useless..they can't even get the voting process right.

That is illegal......as if that really matters anymore........my concern is illegal aliens have resided in the states with the most electorial votes......anyone but me see a problem with this?

They can't vote in 2 states......you have to pick one. We have people living in one state and working in another......PICK ONE!!!!!!
