Illegal immigrants detained along I-81 in Berkeley County

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A West Virginia State Police trooper on road patrol Tuesday afternoon stopped a van on Interstate 81 carrying 10 illegal immigrants who were apparently traveling from New York from Mexico, according to 1st Sgt. E.D. Burnett.


The van was stopped about 1:30 p.m. near the 11-mile marker after Trooper Campbell said the vehicle was traveling 45 mph on the highway, where the posted speed limit is 70 mph, Burnett said.



Campbell determined the Arizona registration on the van was not a registered tag and was improperly displayed, and he stopped the vehicle, police said.


Police later learned the driver, Fortunato Rojas Arana, 34, had three charges of smuggling illegal immigrants filed against him and twice had been deported from the United States, police said.


The nine passengers were from Mexico and included a 13-year-old boy, a 34-year-old woman and seven men between the ages of 18 years old and 36 years old.


Police said Arana had a South Gate, Calif., address.


The immigrants were taken to the state police detachment in Martinsburg and released to federal immigration agents, police said.

Where did you get the figure of how many Citizens have been killed by illegal aliens?

7,100 citizens killed by illegal aliens since 9-11 is twice what we lost that day and about twice the number of soldiers killed in Iraq, this is proof the U.S. gov't is NOT doing what Article four Section four of the Constitution requires, "The gov't shall, "Protect the states from invasion and domestic violence."
How can we MAKE the government do what is REQUIRED by the Constitution?

Another lie that gets perpetrated is that using soldiers to stop illegal aliens violates the Posse Comitatus act. Not true. The military can be enacted when foreign nationals invade our country - but watch our 9% approval Congress squirm and propandise themselves out of that issue. Hopeless cases like Diane Frankenstein still think its more important to stop lettuce from "rotting in the field" than it is to save our citizens from foreign terrorists.

This makes my blood boil! This scum bag had already been deported twice and was back committing more crime! These people come and go as they please and nobody is doing a damn thing about it! Being deported is like a vacation for these people. They visit family members and then cross back whenever they feel like it.

Does any of our political leaders read anything other than the Wall Street Journal!
I would be embarassed if I were in a position of political authority and were being made a fool of by mexico and their illegal invaders!

A BIG THANK YOU to West Virginia State Police Trooper Campbell for doing his part in protecting United States Citizens from the invasion of the ILLEGALS. Fortunately the Trooper is not like far too many of our Elected and Appointed Officials who are for the most part Elitist Politicians who serve only their Elitist Contributors and their Special Interest Groups!

Good comment! Most of our political leaders obviously live in their bubble world working for their special interests so the Wall Street Journal is a must read for them I'm sure.
