SPOKANE, Wash. -- The FBI has cracked a ring in Spokane that helped Bosnian immigrants cheat on tests to fraudulently obtain commercial driver's licenses.

The U.S. attorney in Spokane has called a news conference today (at 10) with State Patrol and licensing officials to announce details.

The Spokesman-Review newspaper reports that an estimated 100 immigrants each paid $2,500 to the Spokane "commercial driving school" over the past three years to get licenses that were then recognized by other states.

Two people arrested in Spokane made court appearances yesterday and were held for investigation of fraud. Five others indicted Wednesday by a grand jury are being sought in Illinois and Michigan
