Immigration Criminals Wrap in USA Flag

All those sweet humans guiding their baby carriages through America’s streets en masse in recent months was such a heart lift, wasn’t it?

And to hear those little old ladies tell of how their children were getting that new chance at life in America? There were balloons, boys and girls with dolls under their arms, moms and dads boycotting their job slots to hit the streets. Don’t Americans just love a parade, a picnic in the park, a march in the boulevard? You bet.

Why, that’s why she stands so tall with torch in hand? She welcomes all these wonderful folk to our shores to increase America’s worth, moral base, and freedom friendly lifestyle. Yessirree.

So now we get the in-your-face facts: AP via ClariNet reports 2,1000 illegals swept under the law recently in a "blitz by federal agents." About time!

And who was caught in the freedom net? Child molesters. Gang members. Past deportees who slid back under the torch.

"’This is a massive operation,’ said Marc Raimondi, a spokesman for immigration enforcement or ICE, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security. ‘We are watching the country's borders from the inside.’"

Question: Where have these ICE agents been the last umpteen years while now criminals maximum imbed themselves in our apartment houses, suburbs, downtowns and rural bird-singing meadows? We’re way past time for shouting Victory, fellows.

I like US President George W. Bush, even with his foibles. But his standing up for these immigrants coming across our borders against the law just makes me sick. An evangelical Christian does not defend breaking US laws — Period! And when he’s in the Oval Office, all the more Period!

"The crackdown, dubbed ‘Operation Return to Sender,’ kicked off May 26. An Associated Press reporter and photographer accompanied a fugitive task force as it made raids Tuesday night and early Wednesday. A swarm of immigration agents had sped silently, headlights off, down a Boston side street and surrounded an apartment house.

"‘Police! Police! Police!’ Monico yelled, holding his badge to a window where someone had pulled back the curtain. ‘Open the door!’ Soon agents led a dazed-looking Jose Ferreira Da Silva, 35, out in handcuffs. The Brazilian had been arrested in 2002 and deported, but had slipped back into the country. He now faces up to 20 years in prison.’

"’This sends a message,’ said Daniel Monico, a deportation officer, after a successful raid early Wednesday. ‘When we deport you, we're serious.’"

Serious?

Time will tell. We’ve been told "serious" before and then lied to.

We’ve had it with this kind of sweet rhetoric. But maybe this time it will stick. Law-abiding citizens are worn to a frazzle over the incompetence of our government related to criminals invited into America, encouraged even to cross the US-Mexican border by a government that has turned its head the other way when border guards begged for help.

Mexico can go to hell. But there’s no reason why America needs to slide down that hole and Washington had better get that message in the face now and ever more.

What did the blitz produce?

Count them: 140+ immigrants with "convictions for sexual offenses against children."

Count them: "367 known gang members, including street soldiers in the deadly Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13."

Count them: "About 640 people who had already been deported once, immigration officials said. The numbers include more than 720 arrests in California alone."

This is a disgrace. It is a travesty that America is just getting around to slicing the scum off Liberty’s face. It is downright evil condoned.

Now we get the late-time good news: "More than 800 people arrested already have been deported. ICE's 2006 budget increased the number of fugitive task forces to 52, and the Bush administration is pushing for 70 by 2007.

"There are more than 500,000 ‘fugitive aliens’ who have been deported by judges and either slipped back into the country or never left. The government has conducted large scale sweeps from time to time, including on April 20, when Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff announced a new get-tough policy.

"That day, agents rounded up 1,100 illegal immigrants in 40 cities."

NOW CHECK THIS OUT: "Another man caught in the recent blitz was a Salvadoran gang member who was convicted in a stabbing that left a 13-year-old boy paralyzed. Agents caught him working at Budget Rental Car at Boston's Logan Airport."

It’s time to take down the American flag to give it a good washing. And those who need to be called to the wash tub are all the politicians and government officials who besmirched that flag over years by inviting outright scum to break our laws day in and day out.

The gov't officials who do NOT stand up for our country, and enforcing the LAWS which are already on the books, are IMO, traitors. They are NOT abiding by their sworn duty to protect our country from invasion.
