LORAIN — Police arrested an illegal immigrant after he crashed into an ATM at Fifth Third Bank, 559 Broadway, early yesterday morning, according to a Lorain police report.

Marcello Torres, 35, said while driving through the ATM lane in a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, his foot came off the brake pedal and hit the gas pedal. The bank manager said the ATM was not operable and Torres caused about $9,000 in damage, according to the report.

Torres was unable to provide proof a valid driving license and Social Security number and admitted that he was in the United State illegally, the report said. Torres was taken to the Lorain City Jail.

He didn't have the "papers" that the rest of us are required to have, including insurance.

i don't know they get alway with this is bS we have to have a driving License & insurane befor you get a car ^ they check up first I Make sure he pay the money but him in jail it not right SB are alway getting away with everything & THEN THE gov will send him home & the American are the only that have to pay That BS Close the Border I still say check the for Birth Cerificatie & they you can see if they are Illigal Immigrants this piss me off lock then up
