Illegal Immigration Foe Fears Dead Goat Bearing Gang Sign Is Death Threat

Print ShareThisPUTNAM LAKE, N.Y. — A state assemblyman said he found a dead goat outside his suburban New York home and believes it represents a death threat against him.

Republican Greg Ball said Friday he has been battling corruption in Putnam County and believes the threat comes from "entrenched interests" he would not name. State Police Sgt. Ted Daley says the incident is under investigation. He would not comment on any threat.

Ball said he found the goat Wednesday night with a sign around the animal's neck that said "Viva MS-13," designating a gang made up largely of Central American immigrants. Ball is a vocal opponent of illegal immigration but said he doubts MS-13 is the source.

Ball has expressed interest in running for Congress.

I wish him luck in finding the culprit and hope he goes on to win in Congress and hopefully plays on our side since he does oppose ilegal immigration

It was only a matter of time. Let's see how politicians handle this now that it's at their doorstep. I truly hope this guy makes it through these threats unharmed, but I'd like to know what politicians who support this invasion think now that the chickens are coming home to roost in their back yard.

Bell is one of the good guys, he has consistantly been fighting against illegals for as long as I can remember. I pray that he will be safe!

I really wouldn't want any of them to be harmed but he will talk to his peers...and maybe some of them will change their minds now that they see what these people will stoop to.

Why isn't this classified as a hate crime? That's exactly what it is.

Very frightening.....Gregg Ball is a former West Pointer, I believe...he knows his stuff and is a great American and sincere, considerate lawmaker. Brewster NY has gone from a small, peaceful town to a battleground of illegal immigration.....illegals from Central America live in outdoor, make-shift encampments and have been basically scaring and ruining the qualify of life for the citizens in the area. Drunken illegals gather to look for work near a school and I know of incidents where school children actually found drunken, passed out illegals on the school playground.
