Obama and DNC to side with Reconquistas

Here is a statement from the DNC:

(On a conference call with reporters on Tuesday, Linda Chavez-Thompson, the vice-chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, asserted that Hispanics do not trust Mr. McCain because, as she put it, 'he walked away' from a comprehensive reform proposal he had co-sponsored. She called it 'a betrayal of the voters of this country.')
    What Voters? Illegal Voters?

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee are condemning John McCain for stepping away from his previous stance on providing amnesty to illegals. The Conservatives and immigration reform communities do not think John McCain has gone far enough.

The fact is that John McCain supports Duncan Hunter's Border fence, border security, and immigration reform with no amnesty. He supports the legislation that is currently on the books.

The Obama campaign and the DNC do not support any form of immigration reform during this election year. They lump all Hispanics into one pot. That 3rd generation Latino small business owner is no different than that illegal contractor that uses illegal labor, pays no insurance or taxes, and underbids construction jobs by 70 percent. That second generation Hispanic that worked hard in school, stayed away from drugs, and is attending college to become a nurse, is no different than a violent drug addicted East LA illegal Gang Banger per Obama and the DNC. That established legal Mexican American family that owns a home, has never defaulted on a mortgage, works hard and has never been a burden to society is the same as an illegal family that lives in a California garage per Obama and the DNC.

Per Obama and the DNC, that illegal that marched in LA carrying a Mexican flag is no different than that legal Latino soldier who lost his life in Iraq and now has an American flag draped over his coffin?

Linda Chavez-Thompson has uttered her full-throated support of the 'Reconquistas' in the below article! What other conclusion can we come to? I wonder if she marched in LA and still has her Mexican Flag? Does she hang her Mexican flag over the front of her desk or on the wall behind her desk? Is she a secret member of the Democratic Socialist Reconquistas Party? Does she send her paycheck back to Mexico?

If Obama is elected will his doubling of taxes for the middleclass go to illegal immigrants that demand free services in a country that is not theirs?

Illegal immigration lowers the wage of legal Hispanics in this country!

Democrats to Spend $20 Million to Woo Latino Voters
    By Michael Falcone

The Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee plan to spend $20 million on a grassroots organizing and advertising effort aimed at shoring up the support of Hispanics, one of the country's fastest growing demographic groups.

The campaign said it would pour resources into every state, running paid advertisements and conducting voter mobilization activities, online and on the ground. More of the money will flow to battleground states and those with large Hispanic populations, like Colorado, Florida, Nevada and New Mexico, according to Frank Sanchez, the chairman of the Obama campaign's National Hispanic Leadership Council.

The Obama campaign has said that Hispanics could tip the balance in a number of key swing states, and they're betting their investment will pay off in November.

The D.N.C. and the Obama campaign will jointly finance the effort. They noted that the $20 million sum was more than double what the Bush and Kerry campaigns spent altogether on Hispanic outreach during the 2004 election, according to a Johns Hopkins University study.

Both campaigns have been actively courting Hispanics this year, though Mr. Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee, appears to be doing better than his Republican rival, Senator John McCain, among the group. A New York Times/CBS News poll conducted earlier this month showed Mr. Obama leading Mr. McCain among Hispanics 62 to 23 percent.

On a conference call with reporters on Tuesday, Linda Chavez-Thompson, the vice-chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, asserted that Hispanics do not trust Mr. McCain because, as she put it, 'he walked away' from a comprehensive reform proposal he had co-sponsored. She called it 'a betrayal of the voters of this country.'

Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Republican of Florida, fired back on behalf of the McCain campaign, saying that Mr. McCain 'doesn't need an introduction to the Hispanic community.'

'John McCain has been working for more than two decades for the values, principles and issues Latinos care about. Hispanics will elect the next President of the United States based on who has the best record, experience and is better prepared to move this country forward,' Mr. Diaz-Balart said in a statement.
